COMPREHENSIVE HANDS-ON TRAINING
No matter your experience level, you’ll receive personalized mentorship, work with industry-standard equipment, and learn everything from technical skills to essential business know-how. We’ll teach you how to market yourself, network, send invoices, and even handle taxes as an independent contractor.
GET PAID TO LEARN
Fellows earn a monthly stipend while learning in a collaborative and supportive environment. Our fellowship program combines structured workshops and hands-on practice to equip you with the skills needed to succeed on set.
EARN A CERTIFICATION
Specialize in one of three disciplines: Camera, Lighting, or Sound. Gain in-depth, hands-on training tailored to your chosen field, culminating in a certification process that demonstrates your skills. Plus, certification makes you eligible for paid roles on our client productions, where you can build experience in many roles — from Grip to Gaffer, Boom Operator to Sound Mixer, Assistant Camera to Camera Operator, and more!
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
We prepare you to thrive in the industry, teaching you how to meet production expectations, network effectively, and manage the business side of freelance work. We will also have guest speakers from the local film community to provide valuable insights and opportunities for networking.
Our Film Production Fellowship is open to individuals aged 18 to 25 in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas.
